How do I reserve a hotel room?
New Mexico Central Reservations is the official housing bureau for the conference. Reservations may be made by clicking on the Hotel Reservations link on the left side of this page.
Where can I get a conference registration form?
The December/January and February/March issue of American Music Teacher or on the MTNA website.
Does my registration fee include any meals? Hotel?
No, it does not.
I forgot to make reservations to a concert or event and I have already registered. What do I do?
Please call MTNA at (888) 512-5278.
Can I take my friend, spouse or child to a session without registering him or her?
No. The only open events are competitions, evening concerts and winners concerts. Someone may visit the exhibit hall without registering. Complimentary guest passes for the hall will be available at registration.
Is the Technology track offered this year?
Yes
Can I attend Pedagogy Saturday without registering for the conference?
No. In addition to registering for Pedagogy Saturday, attendees must register for the entire conference OR at least purchase a day pass for Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday to attend the pre-conference workshop.
When will I receive my registration confirmation?
If you registered online, your confirmation was received upon completion of the registration process. If you registered over the telephone or by mail confirmation will be sent to you via regular mail 2–3 weeks after it was received.
I registered for the conference but now I can’t attend. How do I cancel my registration and request a refund?
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to MTNA and postmarked, faxed or e-mailed no later than March 1, 2010. A $125 processing fee will be assessed for all refunds. Refunds will be issued after the event.
E-mails may be sent to mtnanet@mtna.org with Conference Refund Request in the subject line. Don’t forget to cancel your hotel reservations and airline if necessary.
