A meeting for Southwest division and state leaders will be held on Saturday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m.  After the meeting, a no-host luncheon will be served.

Congratulations to Scott McBride Smith, president of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers,  for his selection as the Cordelia Brown Murphy Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the University of Kansas School of Music in Lawrence. Kansas.  He, therefore, has resigned as president of CAPMT and will be succeeded by Sue Field, CAPMT president-elect.  We bid a fond farewell to Scott and welcome Sue to her new leadership position.
