Beyond The Degree: Real World Teaching

Lunch Time Concerts

Because of overwhelming popularity, GP3 2014 will again offer lunch time concerts. Please consider performing pedagogical literature worth sharing because it is fresh, new and interesting.

We are limiting this to eight performers—first come first play, as along as the following criteria is met:

1. The piece doesn’t have to be new, but should be interesting and fresh.  We would prefer to stay away from standards such as Clementi and Bach.  However, a newer composer (such as Alec Rowley) which uses counterpoint would be wonderful.  Jazz repertoire is also accepted.
2.  Elementary to late intermediate is preferred.
3. Five minutes in length at a maximum.  No introduction will be necessary, since your name and a description will be in the program.
4. Duets are accepted and encouraged.

Deadline:  May 1, 2014, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Include your bio and a 50 word description on what you are playing.
No enumeration policy, etc.
