All conference events will take place here or at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center directly connected to the hotel. Your reservation within the room block enables MTNA to keep conference registration costs as low as possible.

Rooms at the conference rate are available until March 9, 2016, or until all rooms set aside for the conference are reserved, whichever comes first. Reservations are on the first-come, first-served basis. Refer to the group block Music Teachers National Association.

Please note that the Grand Hyatt San Antonio is the official housing provider for the MTNA National Conference. MTNA has worked diligently with the hotel to establish a room block for attendees and exhibitors. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company or housing providers is not approved by MTNA. Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to be for lower rates; however they may be illegitimate, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of and report any unauthorized solicitation to MTNA.

To obtain the necessary amount of meeting, competition and exhibit space at the hotel, MTNA must commit to the minimum number of guest rooms at the official hotel. If that commitment is not met, MTNA could incur significant financial penalties and have difficulty obtaining sufficient space in the future.
